2 lbs. lean ground beef (or turkey)
SuckerPunch Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
1 jar SuckerPunch Hot Green Tomato Salsa
2 (8 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
2 (8 oz.) cans light red kidney beans (drained)
1 red bell pepper (chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tbsp chili powder
salt & pepper to taste
In a large pot, brown the beef. Remove the meat and set aside.
Heat about 1 tbsp of oil in the same pan.
Add onion and red bell pepper saute for about 3 minutes.
Add diced garlic saute for an additional 2-4 minutes.
Add the SuckerPunch Bloody Mary Mix and deglaze the pan (scrape up all the bits with a wooden spoon).
Add the meat back to the pan and add the remaining ingredients.
Stir well and simmer for about an hour.
